I've tried to pinpoint it with an inspection camera but cannot find an oil trail coming form the top of the engine. I suspect the top of the engine because I just replaced the oil cooler. I have an 04 Excursion with the 6.0 diesel. I noticed some oil in the driveway a few days back. I brought it into my shop and there was tons of oil all over the bell housing. At this point, I'm thinking it's the rear main seal. So I took some brake cleaner and cleaned the crap out of everything

Take it back to the dealer, for the oil leak. I had the free oil changes and never checked the bottom of the truck for a year and a half, when I did it myself. I found that there was an oil leak and I was out of the 1 year first 12000 miles of my states lemon law. I took it in for the leak and it turned into a major cluster.
